PHNX FST has been cancelled
PHNX FST – the advertising festival that was to be organized in Zeewolde from Thursday 8 July to Saturday 10 July – has been cancelled. It was confirmed yesterday that the government won’t issue a permit for multi-day events until the end of July. This is also the case for multi-day camping and business events. That’s why all activities of PHNX FST in Zeewolde had to be cancelled.
Kyra Roest, on behalf of the Embassy of Dutch Creativity, one of the initiators of the festival:
“It is regrettable that the corona measures are still throwing a spanner in the works for PHNX FST. The only option was to make it a one-day event, but that was not an option as far as we were concerned. Then it starts to look too much like work. We wanted to give it a real multi-day festival feeling. It is fantastic to see that so many Dutch parties wanted to support an initiative like PHNX FST. The fact that we now have to pull the plug is a hard blow for everyone. But don't worry, we now assume that we will all be back at the Embassy of Dutch Creativity in Cannes next year."
People who have already booked tickets for the advertising festival will get their money back.
